Technical Details Made in Maya 6.5, rendered in Mental Ray 3.4 standalone. Lit with two mentalray area lights on either side. No photons were used, only the area lights and Final Gathering with multiple diffuse bouncing enabled. Every surface in this scene is a custom written shader similar to Maya Ramp shaders, except for the ground, which is a mentalray DGS shader. The shader on the skin is similar to the one in Love Juice, which is designed to blur more towards the angle facing the camera, and reflect more towards the angles not facing you. The entire thing was modeled with polygons, no fancy NURBS or subdivision surfaces this time. Actually I lied, some was subdivision surfaces, now shuttup.
